Jawed completed his studies in French Literature in Delhi and then opted to study abroad. In London he pursued specialization in Hair Design from The Morris School, London. The hair color trend was started among youngsters in India by Jawed Habib. The Limca book record holder for maximum haircuts in a day is now also the official hairstylists of all the contestants participating in the Femina Miss India Beauty Contest.
